Sunny days!

'I really, really, really love the swing Mommy!!!'

Emily feeling quiet proud that Daddy hadn't time to cut the grass at the weekend... he has left her little patch of daisies well alone!

Emily going to kiss her 'chubby-boy' as she calls him, although he doesn't look too pleased about it!

Just a few of the piccies I took today when we sat outside in the garden for about 15 minutes before lunch... Emily just raced around while Ben went crazy in the swing!

Whooooo hooo!

I am still over the moon with my little teaching job. Today Kevy went back to work and so I set upon writing it all down, all the things I wanna cover. Seens as it's for beginners and it's more a 'them' lead lesson- I am pretty much in the dark the first time because i'm unsure what each of them is anticipating getting from the class. So today i've been busy scribbling away and managing to get all the stuff down I think is important.

Dee (from the Billericay crop) too has been lured into the SoML kits! I knew she would in the end, stash diets NEVER last. I am looking forward to seeing what she has created with it and the 'mom' stamp that I know she has brought too...

And my buddy Michelle has been SOOOO kind, she is sending me a journaling book over from the states to me here! I am so happy and it is super kind. I packed up my CJ with a heap of goodies for her - I just hope she can use them! Michelle let me know when they get off that plane and arrive at your house!

No piccies today but I really need to get out there with my camera and take some cool pics to scrap - I have a piccie drought goin' on!

Eager...

I have these things coming to me... I am eagerly awaiting them and anticipate these goodies to be with me at the end of this week or the begining of next! I cannot contain my excitement and already have a few ideas kicking around in my head about how to use them. They are beautiful, aren't they? They are part of the SoML add on kit 3... YUM!
We had some fabby news on Thursday (31st May) ... Our friends Kerry and Ben welcomed their little bubba into the world. Kerry gave birth to her at 6:46am and she weighed 7lbs 9ozs... (Kevy and I had a bet, he guessed 7lbs 2ozs I guessed 7lbs 10ozs - how close was I?!) They have named her Ruby Abigail... and from her little picture we were sent, She looks truly beautiful and just like her Daddy! Well done Mummy Kerry and Daddy Ben. I am itching to get my hands on her!

Very cool!

Indeed!!! This stuff makes me VERY scrappin' happy!

This is how it starts...

These are cool little stationary type cards that are so funky once they are finished. I got my first set in the SOML first kit and have since brought TWO at pandoras... I *heart* them. You can do so much with them. Remember that 'us' family book? That was made using these cards. I know they do them in white and pink... probably other colours too but I just dig them! Anyhow, to make this funky mini book you need them and two book rings (or Ribbon would do as long as it's not too thick - and you tied it loosely)...

I then have covered it in the love, elsie Toby fabric cloud sheet... It takes one whole 12 x 12 if you're thrifty (!)On the last page you may have to just trim the card down a teeeeeensey bit to make it cover but I only had one sheet last night so one HAD to cover it...

The last page i've kinda half started first, mainly because I didn't want to forget the whole topic of the book - Dream... and 'dare to dream' is really the finishing sentiment. I thought the whole clouds thing tied in well - I was always told as a kid I lived with my head in the clouds dreaming of other stuff... (I still do and usually revolves around scrapping!) But personally are dreams are important, they are what we aspire to do and be and what keeps us motivated to have a fabby life. And since I have my dream job, I figured it is mega apt to have a 'dream' book - seens as one has come true!
Will try and do more on it tonight - would've done more last night but I had two monkeys in my house rather than children. Emily decided she 'no wanted go bed!' and so called 'mummmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, mummmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeee' down the stairs til nine thirty pm...! (She normally is zonked at 7pm) so of course, in turn this woke up Ben and he was not a happy bunny about it all!!! He cried on and off til Emily settled down, despite me- 1. telling Emily to be quiet and go to sleep (to which she just laughed) and 2. comforting Ben and stroking his head... Hence why my mini book is still very bare!
Tonight there WILL be more added.

It's doctor who tonight...

OOOOH! I'm not normally a sci-fci fan... but I tell you this I am really into Doctor Who. I really didn't imagine I would be this season either since Billie Piper had quit and Freema Agyeman has taken over as the doctors new assistant. I loved Rose (Billie Piper) but Martha, I think is even better. She is more in awe of the Doctors life/him...
The last one is a two parter concluding tonight, it's pretty creepy too. Scarecrows coming to life, the family of blood etc... by far the most strange to date.
And lastly the Doctor himself... COOOORRR, a bit bloomin' gorgeous...!

Shhhhhh it WAS a secret...

Now I can tell you all this... I have been absolutely dying to tell everyone... I have managed to keep it a secret for nearly five WHOLE long days. And they have been L-O-N-G ones.

I have a teaching job! Yeah! At Pandoras papercraft in Basildon (up in the galleries) I will be teaching on Friday afternoons, a beginners guide to scrapbooking...! It will be 2-4:30pm and pretty relaxed, scrap what you want kinda thing. I am totally PUMPED about it all. And it has been driving me mental keeping it a secret from everyone... I have only been able to tell my sister and Kevy and to them it's just a job, to me it's so much more!

I went in there today (pandoras) and brought some love, elsie stuff... I can tell you that in RL it is gorgeous, even better than in pictures. The blue embossed cardstock is wonderful and the fabric self adhesive paper - well it's not paper its fabric but anyhow that is sooooo cool! I am going to be busy playing tonight now...

This:

Is the kit I brought today, well ordered from Sara at SoML... she has some cool extras too. If you check out her website (www.story-kits.com/store) the kits are unbelievable... I was worried they might've sold out with all the pump and hype around the Elsie stuff... And the Elsie stuff in the kit is cool but the WHOLE kit, you know Sara's eye just manages to get all the right fabby elements together and they just work so well... CANNOT wait to begin making with it now!

And this is the add on that I ordered too ... along with some other stuff... Cool or what???
