To Do:

  1. I need to design/make up 12 LO's for the creating keepsake scrapbooker 2007. And sort out 8 of my already made up LO's too.
  2. Design/make up 6 LO's for the BOB scrapbooking too!
  3. Make and complete my page of my Circle Journal, by the end of May - to be posted on the 1st of June (or before really cause mine has far to travel!)
  4. Draw out my stamp sheet to be made up.

And that is without the usual stuff- you know the stuff our other halfs think that the housework fairies do!

Now you know why I haven't posted my new makes... I'm saving them til I have applied for the two comp's! Everyone apply- Go on! There are some fabby prizes to be won and what an opportunity if you won! imagine the interest in your creativity, it would be absolutely amazing!

Ok, the piccies aren't that good. I cannot work out how to do that scan and stitch thing that some of you can do but you get the idea of these. They aren't the ones I did at crop they are old ones but I know some of my USA buddies aren't able to see my UK Scrappers gallery so here I can share my art freely with the world! If you want to see them closer, double click and they should be HUGE!

One Proud Scrapper!

I am one proud scrapper. Yesterday I returned home from crop and was poooooooped, sorry for no entry but after sorting out the kids and unloading the car, I flopped in front of the tv - watched David Gest and then went to bed. A very tired and very happy scrapper.

Yesterday was heavenly. I love going to crop. And I am so proud, Everyone came and looked at my work and said that they loved it. Wow. I am bowled over. Christine even asked me to hand draw a title on her LO which I nearly fainted with worry that I might ruin her lovely work that she had made by writing in white pen directly onto it.

Well, I managed to make up two LO's and cover my plain jayne cigarbox and add a little mini book inside. I did not manage to make my circle journal but I AM going to do it this week for sure.

I will take some piccies later and upload them!

One more sleep!

Tomorrow is the Havering crop... it has been a while since the last one (March) and i'm really looking forward to this one. It's a relaxing and scrap what you want type of crop and Tanya who runs it is lovely. I just have one fear, I seem to have lost my scrapping mojo somewhere along the way over the past week. It seems that doing anything takes me so long and i'm working on two mini books every night but nothing productive seems to happen. I have the ideas, they are in here somewhere but never seem to make it out onto the paper. Maybe when I print some piccies out later it will spur on some creativity???

On an up side I have finished this:

It's one of THOSE days today. Ever feel that you are surviving your kids rather than raising them?

These little people make me happy...

Happy!

I have just taken this... they are two happy little things! Emily is getting to that 'hard to photograph' stage- she wants to see what you've took, before you've taken it, so keeping her still is getting harder and harder. Ben however, will smile and smile and smile forever more. He is fairly easy atm!

My TSV arrived today and I don't know who was more excited, Emily or me. She was bouncing round the lounge shouting out 'look at me! It's ribbons! It's sparkles ... ' etc... She is going to be a scrapper, I just know it!
Also I am the proud owner of a crop-a-dile... I haven't had time to play yet but I promise once they go down for their naps I will!
Started a ten page beer mat book last night and began to use my bampop! papers, I have had them for so long now and feel I dare cut into them seens as I have two sets. So far i've finished the back cover and started the front and two inside pages. I think it's going to be another no-piccies one but I love them all the same!

The time has come...

Yes, it has come! I have decided that for my sanity and of course bank balance I want a little job. Ideally it would be craft related... you know how much would I love being able to inspire and help people choose things to create with??? I would be in my element. But, short of that I will return back to childminding, how much call there is for it around here I don't know but i have put up an ad on NetMums and will post a few bits at the schools.
So if anyone needs a girl-Friday type of person, look no further...!
