Scrapping the best memories...

...doesn't always mean the best piccies... Karen Russell had this on her blog - how recently she has been scrapping her best piccies and ignoring the best moments because most probably they aren't great piccies to match. I must say I have been doing the same. Scrapping my fave piccies of my two monkeys rather than the best moment photos. I think thats why sometimes my journalling suffers, the best piccies often are so planned, thought over and staged that there are no real good memories - other than me usually begging my daughter to stay still for two seconds! I am making it my mission this week to scrap at least one LO of my best memories, regardless of the piccie. This too has given me some thought about my class content too...huuuummmm Mrs.Russell, ma'am! You have given me food for thought!

Other than that I got my chocloate egg love LO finished last night... after asking Kevy's opinion - I am sure he is colour blind. Anyhow I started and finished a LO in a day that was unplanned, unsketched and all my own work - I am pleased! I also managed to start another LO using one of Ben's tops... It will become clear once I post it, honest! Which is coming along nicely and just needs a few bits stuck down. But i'm happy with it so far... I did feel bad though hacking up one of his tops (I know it no longer fits him) but would usually freecycle our kids stuff so felt abit friviolous!(sorry, sp!)

Oh do you think that could be a challenge for Friday morning if I bring my stash?

Oh I love the chocolate egg page, love it, love it!!! Lettering is great!! Valid point too about using your fav photos instead of the ones that mean something, I think we are all a bit guilty of that!!! ha ha
