My SoML kit 2! Yeah!!! And best of all it looks so bloomin fabby. Loads of cute 7 gypsies stuff and hambly rub-ons...with crochet embellies. OOOOh i'm just drooling at the thought of it all.
Can I say a big 'hi' across the pond to Michelle, her blog is http://scrapcouture.typepad.com and she ROCKS! She has just completed the 'race for the cure' which is a subject that really touches my heart. My mum died from cancer at the age of 54. I was only 21 then and it just changed my life immeasurably. She had breast cancer twice, two mastectomies, chemotherapy and radiotherapy twice... in the end it spread to her liver when she had not long been given the all clear. In just over a week she had gone. It was such a shock and even now, 5 years later it seems like yesterday wen all those emotions were everywhere. Please girls, check yourselves. I'm sure that everone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. It is such an awful disease. Big up to those of you who race for life and raise for such good charities!
Ben had his first night last night in his own room! Now we have finished it (finally) and I carried his crib through yesterday and hung his curtains. We didn't have too bad a night really. He woke probably around six times at 12:30, 1:20am and 2:30am a few times each and he did wake Emily too but it was to be expected now they are right next door to each other. Good news is because it's so dark in there now with the blind and thick navy denim curtains he did not wake til aat least 7:20am. I got him up at 7:30 and he was happily chatting away to himself in his crib. He is such a happy little boy.
With Ben being 'evicted' from our room, i now have set up my huge crafting workspace which needs alot of re-organising as half my stash is downstairs and scattered all over but it is coming togther now! I cannot wait to be able to leave projects out rather than spending my whole time getting out/putting away! and Kevy is excited because it means he can play on his Wii downstairs as i'll be upstairs and not wanting the tv on. Any way you look at it we have a fairly happy house at the moment.
Will take some more piccies of my new kit later and tote! Have fun!
Love ya all!
